Registration Problem

Here's the problem, I've traditionally been using a single user usb hardware lock with GMS. Recently, I've acquired access to a network hardware lock which enables a entirely new set of GMS components. Ideally I'd like to use both hardware keys, however, GMS appears to only allow one. Attempts to switch back and forth between hardware keys has proven to be unsuccessful. Any advice on this one?

Thanks in advance...

Fish,

Is GMS not recognizing the locks? Will it just recognize one? Do you have different drivers for the different locks installed on the machine? If there is more than one Sentinel driver on a machine they can conflict with each other. There is a different driver that you could use, however, that should work with both locks. There are a few things you would need to do to get this driver.

1) Go to http://www.safenet-inc.com/support/tech/sentinel.asp

2) Click on 'Sentinel SuperPro'

3) Scroll down and find the 'SSD Cleanup'

4) Download and run that.

This will delete all instances of Sentinel drivers from your computer (including registry, etc.)

5) Restart your computer

6) Make sure your USB lock is not plugged in

7) Go back to the same place where you downloaded the SSD Cleanup before

8) Find the driver called 'Sentinel Protection Installer v7.4.0'

9) Download and run that

This should work for both hw locks.

Let me know if this helps,

Benjamin Daniel
