Hi,

I am looking for ways to export my mesh + bathymetry to ArcMap. I can only seem to get the domain 'boundary' exported as a shapefile, and nothing else. Surely this should be an easy task? Can anyone tell me how to take the fort.14 file data (for adcirc...simply x, y, depth triplets and then node1, node2, node3 element info) and get it into arcmap as a .tin or something like that?

Dave,

Have you tried saving it as an AutoCAD file? If you right click in the white space of the project explorer and choose "Convert to CAD" and the choose File | Save As and select AutoCAD file as the save as type.

You can then use the Import from CAD feature of the ArcToolbox in ArcMap http://webhelp.esri.com/arcgisdesktop/9.2/...version_toolbox

When he says in the "white space," it has to be in the space below all of the other items in the project explorer and not to the right of an item.

Make sure you have your element edges on and give this a try. Let me know if it still doesn't work.

when i click in the white space as you suggest, there is no cad option.
