yangyun
In case with transformation from tin to 3D-mesh, how to deal with the error "The selected area cannot be meshed, a pinch out zone has been detected" Thanks! YANG Yun
Alan Lemon
You can not create a mesh between 2 tins that overlap in the Z direction. If you have subsurface data that has pinchouts you can use the Horizons->3D Mesh command. Try this tutorial to see how to use the command: http://gmstutorials.aquaveo.com/Stratigrap...nd%20Meshes.pdf
woodward
But this is exactly the case in the Stratigraphy Modeling - Horizons, TINs and Meshes.pdf tutorial! The TINS intersect and create a pinchout in the mesh. Are you saying that FEMWATER won't cope with the resulting mesh?
