Variable Input on Wavemaker in BOUSS2D

Hi there,

Can someone advise whether it is possible to have a manually varied (time series) of wave parameters input on the wavemaker in BOUSS2D?

For example, I have set up a model and wish to test incident wave heights of 1, 1.5, 2m etc.

If this is possible, how would it be done?

Regards

Joel

Joel,

Time Series data can by inputted manually with a ts1 file. The format for this file can be found in the BOUSS2D documentation in Appendix D. If you select the cell string and assign a Wave Maker BC, in the Options (BOUSS2D Wave Generator Properties) you may specify where this file is located. You may also synthesize using the options in this dialog.

Chad Ballard
