Split a UGrid Layer into multiple layers

Hi Alan,

I hope you are doing well. I am a beginner user of GMS and MODFLOW and this post "Split a UGrid Layer into multiple layers" has caught my attention.

I used boreholes, cross-sections, and a surface TIN to reconstruct a USG 3d grid of a floodplain (see pics below). I have worked hard to reach this point but I'm still getting cells which are not properly split and/or assigned to the right horizon. On the pics below for instance, you can see that elongated dark grey cell, in the front row, that should be split in two (upper portion should be assigned to that light grey horizon). I am wondering if there is a method in GMS 10.3 to manually split a cell into two layers.
