speedy
Hello folksI have been calibrating a large regional-scale model and noted the calibration error does not go lower than 2000, knowing that I have around 900 observation points. When I looked into rec file produced by PEST, I noted every point has a weight of 1.960. This explain why the error is large. Is there a way to change the weights of observation points as I could not see this option anywhere in GMS.Thanks Edited January 11, 2016 by speedy
Alan Lemon
The weight is controlled by the interval that you have specified for each observation point. The smaller the interval the larger the weight.
speedy
Thanks I changed the standard deviation of the observations to 1.0 and that made weights=
