Lalith
Hi,Can you please explain me how to refine 3D grid with multiple layers at the locations of observation heads? I want the grid to be refined for all layers although observation heads are particular to individual layers.Lalith Edited December 10, 2015 by Lalith
Michael Kennard
If you are using a conceptual model, you can create the grid with refinement around points. The MODFLOW Conceptual Model Approach I tutorial includes an example of grid refinement (section 8). You turn on the Refinement attribute in the Coverage Setup dialog and then you specify the refinement at the points. If you want to modify the existing 3D grid, you can use the Add i boundary and Add j boundary tools to split a grid row or column You can also use the Select node tool to drag a grid intersection and resize rows and columns.
