Importing MT3D files into GMS

Start by importing the associated MODFLOW simulation. You can do this by opening the *.nam file.

Then you will need to create a *.mts file for your MT3D simulation. It is basically like an MT3D name file. Here is an example with the Advection, Dispersion, Source/Sink mixing, and GCG solver packages:

MT3DSUP
BTN "mt3dgrid.btn"
ADV "mt3dgrid.adv"
DSP "mt3dgrid.dsp"
SSM "mt3dgrid.ssm"
GCG "mt3dgrid.gcg"
Put this file in the same directory as your MT3D inputs and change the filenames in this file to match your MT3D files. Then open the file and it should import the model.
