WetStone (Daniel S Fisher)
This is a hot topic and I see no response from Aquaveo...Is GMS compatible with Windows 10?You're falling behind the curve very quickly.
Chris Garcia
Thank you for your interest in using our software with the newest versions and advancements of technology. We hope to meet an ever growing technological world's demands as best as possible. Unfortunately, we do not get access to Windows releases or new editions of MODFLOW-USG (i.e. the new 1.3 version of USG was released December 1, 2015) any sooner than the next user. So, we have to adapt to its changes once it comes out. After running several tests with our software and Windows 10, the following has been resolved: 1. XMS must be installed by a user with administrative privileges.2. XMS can be run by both standard and administrative users.3. XMS versions compatible with Windows 10 are GMS 10.0+, SMS 12.1+, and WMS 10.0+ Please continue to comment if after following these steps you are still unable to use the software.
