kkofford
Hello,The maxele.63 file is like the fort.63 file with just the maximum elevation of your nodes in the grid. You can export this to ArcGIS in several different ways depending on how you want your data displayed. I will describe how two of several options that can be used.1. First step is to load your maxele file in with your SMS file. Then you can create contours in the SMS display options and export the the contours as a shapefile.2. However, if you want export all of the nodes and not just contours of the maxele file, you can export it as a Tabular File (.txt). You can do this by going to File|Save As. Select Tabular File under the Save type as. Then you can select x,y,z, and the maximum elevation (from your maxele file) into each of the columns. Now that it is in .txt format you should be able to import the data into ArcGIS.
