Bill Dolinar
This is a bug. We apologize for the inconvenience. We are looking into getting this fixed. One workaround would be:- Change the LPF Package dialog and change to "Use material Ids" instead of "Use data arrays"- Run Solids -> MODFLOW againThis won't work if you need to change some of the material properties arrays after running Solids -> MODFLOW. A workaround would be to go in the array editor for each, save the values to data sets, and then set the values to the correct ones from the arrays editors. This could be done as follows:- Go into the Specific Storage array editor from the LPF Dialog- Click on the Grid -> 3D Data Set button- Enter a data set name like "Specific Yield"- Hit okay twice to exit the dialogsThen the same for specific yield:- Go into the Specific Yield array editor from the LPF Dialog- Click on the Grid -> 3D Data Set button- Enter a data set name like "Specific Storage"- Hit okay twice to exit the dialogsThen copy the data sets to the proper arrays:- Go into the Specific Storage array editor from the LPF Dialog- Click on the 3D Data Set -> Grid button- Select the Specific Storage data set- Hit okay twice to close out of the dialogs - Go into the Specific Yield array editor from the LPF Dialog- Click on the 3D Data Set -> Grid button- Select the Specific Yield data set- Hit okay twice to close out of the dialogs
dvsnunna
Dear Bill,Thank you for your quick reply. If i keep Sy values in SS column and SS values in Sy column in the material tab, after that if i do solids>>modflow (using data arrays) operation, grid is displaying correct values. Is it ok?ThanksDVS
Bill Dolinar
With a version of GMS with this bug and the values swapped, once you run solids -> MODFLOW the values will save and MODFLOW will run correctly with the current version. But if you then change over to using materials IDs or if you update to the version of GMS that has this fixed (which we haven't yet released), it won't work correctly. That's why I recommended going through the steps in my previous post.
