Léo
I would be very helpfull, in the Cross Section Editor, to include some features that would make the graphics much better to interpretate.1. The Y-axis labels get mixed with the grid display (check attached file, the elevation numbers cannot be seen). 2. When used, the grid lines get in front of labels and boreholes. This erases part of the text (check attached file, borehole texts SE-12, SE-02 etc.). This can also cause confusion if using black solid grid lines, since borehole contacts are black lines.3. In the attached file, borehole SE-02 is a well that has not been drilled to lower horizons. I would be nice to be able "by-pass" the lower arc directly from SPT-13 to Rio-B.4. It would also be interesting to insert an option to display mateiral and/or soil legend. This really is very important if you need to add cross sectioin figures in technical reports.section-BB.pdf
Alan Lemon
Items 1, 2, and 4 has been addressed in the development version of GMS and will be implemented in 10.1Item 2 - there is an option to display the axes behind the cross section or in front of.Item 3 - this item will not be addressed with cross sections between boreholes. However, in the future we will have an option to sketch cross sections that are not directly connected to the boreholes.
