Sean Czarniecki
I would like to create a consistent slope across my model grid (the cell bottom elevations, for example). I've always felt that this should be a simple operation, similar to how interpolation occurs between points in a constant head coverage. In the past, I've either performed this externally and pulled the results into the model, or interpolated using tins/scatter points. I'm thinking that the areal coverage for elevation should be able to do this by setting polygon nodes at an elevation. It sounds simple in my mind, but I guess it can get complicated if someone doesn't want just a simple slope (it then becomes more like the scatter point interpolation. If I'm missing a simple operation to perform this, please let me know. Thanks! Edited October 10, 2011 by Sean Czarniecki
Alan Lemon
I don't think you have missed anything. The most simple way to do this with the current tools is with a scatter set and interpolation.
