Kirk
In GMS 7.1.2 I could map my HK data by simply using the cell faces button and options dialogue box to specify "active data set" and "IBOUND" and then auto-compute would give me a nice varied display of HK. Even with somewhat unbalanced HK distributions. In GMS 8.0.8 and 8.0.9 (both) the cell faces options button is no longer there, and instead there is a block fill function in the contour options dialogue box. But the auto-compute will not generate a nice distribution that could be attained in GMS 7.1.2, and even when I specify values for specific HK numbers, I get several values of HK mapped as only one color - at least sometimes! Can anyone tell me how to work this new block fill to work like the old cell faces options worked?? Kirk
Follow up Note: Todd at Aquaveo submitted this as a bug to the developers of GMS on 9/2-2011. Also he suggested a work around of using a high number of contour intervals with the number of contours option with Block Fill.Kirk
