3D geostats, clipping 3D contouring to ground surface?

Greetings everyone. I am a long-time GMS user (starting with version 1.2, i thnk) but an new today to this forum.

I am certain that there is a way to truncate 3D data interpolation to the ground surface. I not certain how to do it using GMS v. 6.5. I am thinking of a workaround but that may involve creating an additional finite difference grid, interpolating a ground surface for that grid, then interpolating the 3D data onto the FD grid. Is there a more direct way using the 3D geostats module?

Thanks,

Kent
