Chris24
Hi folksAnyone noticed, that scatter to grid isn't working anymore in SMS 10.1.10 and 10.1.11??!!! All scatter points get zero elevation in the resulting scatter grid.I think it worked, before the latest few updates. How hard can it be?@ aquaveo team: please fix it again!Because of all this annoying bugs, and some of them are coming up again, I am working with SMS V9.0, V9.2 , V10.0 and V10.1.11, hoping at least 1 Version will work properly when something doesn't work again... Todd Wood
Hi Chris,I apologize that the interpolation from Scatter to Scatter grid is resulting in zero values. We have tried reproducing this with some smaller datasets we have in SMS 10.1.11, but have not been able to so far. Does this only occur with certain files? If so, could you follow the steps below to upload the files to us at Technical Support? 1. Create a new folder with a unique name on your computer and copy all of your project files into it. (please zip up the folder)2. Open windows explorer (My Computer).3. Enter "ftp://pubftp.aquaveo.com" in the address bar.4. (If the "Log On As" dialog box appears) check the box labeled "Log on anonymously" and click "Log On".5. Copy the folder with your project files in it into the "incoming" folder.6. Send an e-mail to support@aquaveo.com telling us the name of the folder you uploaded and exact steps taken to produce the problem.*Please help us stay organized by putting all of your files in a single folder before you upload them. After you upload them, you will not be able to edit them.If they occur with any files, are you just selecting "Scatter | Interpolate to Scatter | to Scatter Grid..."? Are you using the latest build of SMS 10.1 (Jan 25 2011)? If not, you can download it from our download center.
