Hisham
Hi AllI want to develop a ModAEM solution which has a river as its downstream boundary. The problem is that ModAEM requires the definition of a polygon for the model area in a layer where one must select "Use to define model boundary (active area). When one does this the "Sources/Sinks/BCs" option are automatically reduced and the check box for "River" disappear. Hence, it is practically impossible to use a river as a boundary for the model. Please note that I do not want to define the river as a specified head boundary. This is a problem that I have in a number of areas that I am studying and, hence, I will really be appreciative for any thoughts.Cheers
Alan Lemon
This is by design. Boundary coverages in ModAEM can only have specified flow and specified head arcs. Also, there can only be 1 polygon. This is a limitation of ModAEM not GMS. Feel free to contact the author of ModAEM for more information. vic at wittmanhydro.com
