  1. Hello, I'm working the the MODRAT hydrology model. I was wondering if the Reservoir (or detention basin) routing feature is still included and, if so, if you had any more guidance on the feature. I see it is referenced in the "Schematic" MODRAT tutorial, but I just don't see where I can turn on the Reservoir Routing display option in the MODRAT parameters window. Is there a screenshot of this option anywhere? Or has it been removed? Thank you!
  2. Hello, I am trying to model impact of beaver dams on a watershed. To do this, I am planning to use HEC HMS, with anthropogenic dams as proxies for beaver dams. However, I would need to enter on the order of 1500 - 2000 dams (or more) to cover the entire watershed. For obvious reasons, this would be tedious to do individually per dam. Does anyone know of a method to simultaneously import large numbers of reservoir elements into HEC, perhaps with a GIS layer (which I have), or another method? Thanks for your help! Sincerely, Alexandre Caillat Masters Candidate, 2014 Bren School of Environmental Science & Management University of California, Santa Barbara acaillat@bren.ucsb.edu
  3. My unsteady RAS model includes a reservoir and a few storage areas am curious to try out the water quality routine in RAS 4.1.0. I know that the computations are based water quality cells, which are mid points between two cross sections. I want to know if there is another way to incorporate a storage area in the model than input its stage vs storage from a DSS? Any insight you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks !
