I'm running ADCIRC with the example "SMS_ADCIRC", Shinnecock Bay on Long Island, (from SMS_13.0_tutorials).
The file maxvel.63 (in attach) that comes with the example files has very strange data values of maximum velocity: the first 6026 lines have values from 0.000756 to 1.91. Then from line 6027 to the end of file the values are from 30814 to 129600. When I open this file in SMS only the biggest values appear (see example.jpg in attach)....
The file maxele.63 however seems correct.
Also, if I run the simulation the same type of values are generated in maxvel.63.
