  1. I am working on a sediment transport model and trying to add a specified sediment inflow to the inflow boundary condition using the "file" option available in the SRH-2D Linear BC settings. I am creating a txt file and giving it a .dat file extension based on information from the SRH-2D sediment transport user manual but am running into the error below in the SRH-2D solver. I have tried different formats for the input .dat file but with no luck. Has anyone dealt with this before? Thanks.
  2. I am encountering the same error when using SMS Version 13.0.13. Has anyone identified a solution for this? I have had some luck rebuilding the SMS package from the components of previous simulations, but haven't found a solution for the sms file where there error is occurring. Simulations in SRH-2D still will run but progress is not saved.
  3. Are shapefile outputs no longer supported in SMS 13.0.13? I have a layer selected and am trying to export a shapefile via "Save As" but .shp is not one of the available file types.
  4. Creating a new simulation run solved it. Thanks!
  5. I am running into the following error in the PreSRH-2D processor in SMS Version 13.0.8. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
  6. Hello, Has anyone run into issues using the "link" boundary condition type, specifically with the SRH-2D preprocessor stalling when a link boundary condition type is used? Thanks!
  7. I am working in SMS Version 12.2.11 paired with SRH-2D Version 3.1.1. I am modeling several bridges and am trying to use the overtopping function but am running into inconsistencies with the error below when I try and enable overtopping for several of the pressure flow bridges. I have two copies of the simulation, both with the same mesh, materials, and boundary condition arcs. In one copy, I have all of the pressure flow boundary conditions arcs, and only have overtopping enabled for the arcs that do not return the error below. In the second copy, I have a subset of the pressure arcs that are giving the most trouble. Interestingly, when I run the model with the subset only, it runs fine, but those same arcs have overtopping enabled in the first simulation it gives the error. Has anyone run into similar issues, or have any thoughts on what might be causing the inconsistency? Thanks!
  8. Cody, Thanks for the quick reply. I was in fact getting the error message below in the SRH-Pre run and was able to resolve using the wiki page. Thanks again or your help.
  9. Hello, I am working in Version 12.2.11 of SMS and am running into the following error when I try to run the created simulation in SRH2D. Does anyone know of a fix for this error?
  10. I am trying to use the overtopping function for several bridges with pressure flow BCs. 4 or 5 of the 12 bridges work fine, however, several return errors at the start of the SRH2D simulation. Attached are screenshots of the two errors I've run into. Interestingly, the model will run fine if the bridges that return errors with overtopping enabled are switch to pressure flow BC with no overtopping. Has anyone run into similar issues/found and ways to resolve? Thanks!
  11. I have a inflow boundary condition set at the upstream end of a model I am working on. I move the location of the boundary condition upstream ~250 feet (see pictures below) and now receive the error message below when running in SRH-2D. Has anyone else run into this issue? Before (Working) After (not working) Error
