  1. From http://xmswiki.com/wiki/SMS:Observations_Workflow "Observation points are used to verify the numerical analysis with measured field data such as water surface elevation or velocity data. They are also be used to see how computed values change with time at a particular location. Observation arcs are used to view the results at a cross section or along the river profile." Question: Does the observed/calibration/measured data provided at each observation point influence the initial numerical analysis? Question: Can an observation point be used to monitor numerical analysis?
  2. Preface: Below is the XML coding produced by Autodesk Civil 3D (2014) Surface-> Export to LandXML Statement: The information provided on SMSWiki.com under SMS: LandXML Files nor SMS: Importing Non-native SMS Files adequately answers the following question. Question 1: Is the Code in Lines 1 through 15 acceptable to SMS or does it need to be modified in some manner? Statement: xmswiki.com/wiki/SMS:LandXML_Files states "SMS only supports a subset of the LandXML definition specific to TINs". For me this implies a user should be able to use a subset of LandXML code to bui
  3. I see from the FAQ the list of needed Inputs. What is the minimum data needed to develop output for the following riverine system? A secondary river with known multiple upland inflow (rates and timing), nodal Attributes (land-use), topography (200 to 300 MSL) meteorological forcing input (only precipitation), and boundary conditions which discharges into a primary river. System has not Tidal characteristics, wave radiation stress forcing
