Does any one have any tips on how I can increase the memory available to WMS. I'm working with large elevation dataset and while doing things such as building tins, reading in text files (high resolution aerial survey xyz files), delineating floods, etc. I am routinely getting an "Out of Memory" error that forces me to stop what I'm doing, close WMS and open it back up. Usually I can not even save my progress because I get the out of memory error when I try to save as well. My desktop configuration is as follows: Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz E6750 CPU 3.00 GB RAM 32-bit Windows XP Professional SP2 I'm not multitasking while using WMS, and it seems like it can read 2 or 3 (50 MB) elevation data sets before it runs out of memory. Is there a cache I can increase or periodically empty? increase the windows page file size? Any, suggestions would be much appreciated. -Clint-1 points
I am getting an "Audit Error: Check D for Errors" message every time I try and save my gms file. This started just after creating several scatterpoint sets. I am using GMS 8.1.4 64bit. Does anyone know what this error is and how to fix it?-1 points
Other users have reported this problem in GMS when they had CAD data loaded and tried to save. If you do have CAD data, could you try converting it to feature objects, deleting it and then saving the project again? If you do not have CAD data, would you please upload your files to our FTP site by following the instructions below so we can look into the problem? 1. Create a new folder with a unique name on your computer and copy all of your project files into it. (please zip up the folder) 2. Open windows explorer (My Computer). 3. Enter "ftp://pubftp.aquaveo.com/incoming/" in the address bar. 4. (If the "Log On As" dialog box appears) check the box labeled "Log on anonymously" and click "Log On". 5. Copy the folder with your project files in it into the "incoming" folder. 6. Send an e-mail to email@example.com telling us the name of the folder you uploaded and exact steps taken to produce the problem. *Please help us stay organized by putting all of your files in a single folder before you upload them. After you upload the files, you will not be able to edit them.-1 points
Dear Colleagues: I would like to use results of CMS in ArcGIS. Is there any chance to export results (specifically line of run-up) to a shape or similar? Thanks, Jose-1 points
