CMS-flow

Recommended Posts

Hi:

I try to use the example to run the CMS-flow. But when I define the boundary condition (select cell string), the SMS just stops working. I don't know why, and I use a laptop with vista system and shared video card. Is there any way that I can define boundary conditions without using select cell string? Thank you.

The problem should be solved by updating your graphics card drivers. Your IT department should be able to help you get the latest drivers. The following page discusses how to update your graphics card drivers:

You can always try using the windows update website and using the "custom" update so it includes hardware updates, although this doesn't work for all hardware.

Let us know if this helps please.

I updated the video driver in my laptop, but it still didn't work. But, I used my desktop with a didacated vedio card, and it works.

We have been working to resolve this issue, but have had a hard time reproducing it on our test machines. It seems that the majority of the problems have been with integrated Intel graphics cards. Be sure to update to the latest build of SMS.

As a temporary fix, you may want to try switching from hardware to software rendering as described here.
