Time dependent scatter data sets

Recommended Posts

Chris,

Use the OBJTYPE card with the keyword "scat2d".

There are a couple of ways to get the OBJID

Use the File menu command "Get Info..." to open the information dialog. Switch to the Scatter Module tab to find the scatter set ID. Use the scatter set ID as the value for the OBJID card.

If you save the scatter set using a:

* Scatter Super Files (*.sup), inside of the .xy file the ID will be specified.

* Scattersets in XMDF format (*.h5), inside of the h5 file in the path 2DScatterModule/scatter/PROPERTIES/Id (use an hdf5 file browser).

etc.
