RMA2 no water in model

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody,

Sorry for my bad english.

I have a problem when i run on RMA2.

The modele does not converge. I don't know where come from the error.

I injected in inflow a flow and outflow a surface water elevation.

I think that there is no water because the results are :

++ CONTINUITY CHECKS ... TIME STEP = 0 HOUR (TET) = 0.00000

++ U,V,H HYDRO ITER CYCLE= 0

You may want to look at this thread in the Forum for information about the "NEGATIVE DEPTH WARNING: For entire mesh..." message. Basically, RMA2 requires that all nodes in your mesh start wet, or have a positive depth. You can specify an initial water surface value in the "RMA2 | Model Control | General tab" window. You can also look into using the steering tool, which is described on this page of our online wiki, which currently serves as our "help manual" for SMS.
