    My sms cann't run

    I download the version is 10.1.6 demo.   3. 10.1.4 fix that the sol file of linear mesh can't be opened. i love this version my 10.1.4 can insert two or more meshes . but if the Connected grids are very small(such as 10m) or very much (such 1000 cells in a arc) ,the connected nodes will not be matched well.
  4. thanks for reply. this is my files. we can import the sol file by sms 9.0 and earlier but failed with sms 10.0 and higher ps:did this cause by the number of nodes less then the number of elements? sms10.1.zip
  5. JUST SHOW THIS THE SOLUTION FILE DOES NOT MATCH THE MESH
  6. when sms 9.0 and earily,we can save our hydraulic program results into *.sol file. and then the post work can be finied on the sms.just like rma2. for example,we can use a geo file and a matched sol file to show the uv field.no matter the elements is linear or quadratic(although rma2 is only support the quadratic). But now the sms 10 can't do this. we can't show a matched sol file based the geo file that is the elements are linear . please help me.

    I doubted that this problem casued by two video cards because in other computers that had only one video card ,this program works well.

  10. two pictures from RMA2 documentation that hopefully explain it (v4.5 pages 231,232 & 234). It is for binary file format OF SMS 9.0 SMS 10.0.11 changed ?
  11. We have been using SMS 9.0 for a couple of years with RMA2, sometimes we use RMA2 Binary Solution (u,v,h) File Format to save our field information. but now wehen we got the sms 10.0.11 ,we found some sol file couldn't open although sms 9.0 did it.
  12. The Generic Mesh Model is a great tool for mesh generation. I love it I hope it can improve more 1、the post-treat such as sol file can be cell-centered, 2\ can be triangle and quadrangle mixed 3\add the tool of undo redo thanks
